Norm in Ohio has customized and
restored his Radian twice. He had just finished it the first time and
someone in a car ran into him from behind. Luckily Norm and the bike were
both able to recover. He has his bike in awesome shape once again, and
shared some photos of his Radian. Here are some things he has done to it,
in his words:
"On the
bike, I did all the work, the tail is a used section I
got on Ebay an modified to a café style over the winter,
most everything else is from Dennis Kirk or Ebay.
Starting at the front, Progressive springs in the forks
and Del Ray oil, the gauges are from Dennis Kirk, both
digital, those were fun to wire into an older bike, clip
ons and headlamp are from Ebay, the lamp was modified to
fit the original lamp mount. mirrors from Ebay, motor is
all stock except the 4 into 1 exhaust and iridium plugs,
again Ebay, Kerker exhaust, still have to install the
stage 3 carb jet, will do this fall, Performance
sprockets, and RK chain, Progressive rear shocks, Joker
L.E.D. stop lamp, the seat was from Ebay, I took it
apart, shaved the foam and recovered it in a leather
type material, I’m sure there are other parts I am
forgetting. All the paintwork, and body mods I did
myself over the last few summers."
Awesome
bike, Norm! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe,
and have better luck with it this time.
